Steve of Wrongpop has assembled this compilation of noisy/notoriously loud bands (Part Chimp, Shield Your Eyes, Kong, Pulled Apart By Horses, etc.) in aid of Deafness Research UK. #irony
‘Diamond Swords’ is a new track we’re particularly fond of—it being the first one we wrote with Jamie—which will feature on our second album. Details: it was recorded live on to tape and mixed live (which is both fun and terrifying) with Tim Cedar (he of Part Chimp-fame) at Dropout Studios, Camberwell. It’s unmastered. It will sound a bit different on the album. Probably.
Anyway, the compilation’s available to buy for £5 with all money going towards Deafness Research UK.

New single: ‘Ultra Silence’

This is the video for our new single, ‘Ultra Silence’. You can download the track for free at ultrasilence.co.uk in exchange for some social networking errands and the exchanging of highly personal information, all for our own amusement. Not really.
We recorded the song live on to tape with Tim Cedar (Part Chimp), mixed it with Patrick Constable (Selfish C*nt) at Dropout Studios and it was mastered by Justin Saban of Latent Lemon.
We’re celebrating the release with a launch show at the Macbeth (Facebook Event) which promises to be a sweaty one!

Dropout Recording

We finished mixing our forthcoming EP at Dropout Studios with Tim Cedar (of Part Chimp-fame) this weekend. The whole session was recorded live on to tape and sounds fierce, bitch.
More news & pre-order deets about the EP soon, it’s going to be a very special thing so now’s your warning to make plenty of room for it in your ISDP shrines (keep sending in your pictures of these, by the way, we love ‘em!).

‘Teeth Union’

Welcome to our new website, by the way. We thought we’d start by letting you know the details about our debut album…
It’s called ‘Teeth Union’. We recorded it with our friend Tom Morris at Fortress Studios and it’s been mastered by Bob Weston. The release date for the record is 27th September, so expect some touring that month. The artwork was created by Craig and Andy Holden who is one of the masterminds behind Lost Toys Records who we’re co-releasing the album with and he is also one of the few unlucky people to see our first ever gig (yeah, the one we get infamously booed off at). Check out the tracklisting on the discog page.
Oh yeah, it’s pretty noisy and like 26 minutes long but… you expected that, right?
